Young and naïve, with absolutely, NO sense of danger, and let’s hope, that these two young women had, learned their lessons here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

Two adolescent girls from Hsinbei City was suspected of walking into the traps of the scam artist ring, they were, “incarcerated” for a week; three days ago, the two girls tied up all their clothes, made a rope, and attempted to escape from the eleventh floor place, but had fallen and severely injured themselves. Afterwards, the people scattered away from the site, but the police arrested a man who’d returned back to the scene, they’re almost sure, that there is, a scam artist ring behind this, and had already set up a specialized investigations team to look into it.

The Hsinbei Fire Department received a call early in the morning on the 26th, that at the terminal station of MRT Hsintien Line, there was a woman who’d fallen to the third floor platforms and injured herself, as the paramedics rushed over, they’d found the sixteen-year-old Liu and fifteen-year-old Chen adolescent girls wailing in pain, after rushing them to Tzu-Chi Hospital in Taipei, they were out of danger, but Liu had a dislocated left shoulder and lacerations on her left arm and leg, sustained more serious injuries, is kept at the hospital for observations.

The adolescent girls told the police and fire department, that she was introduced by her “godbrother” to work, but had fallen prey into the scam rings, their cell phones were taken from them, and they were restricted from walking out too, they were kept, for a week already, at the eleventh floor of the building; the escaped girls said, that they’d tied up a dozen of their clothes, into a rope, then, tossed the rope out of the eleventh story window, but by the time they’d climbed down to the fifth floor, they were already, out of strength, and fell directly, to the balcony of the third floor.

After the accidents, the police immediately went to the location, and found that the front door open wide, and a mess inside, nobody was around, seemed like someone left in a hurry; not long thereafter, a twenty-three-year-old male, Lee, came back to the apartment and looked around, he was taken in by the police; Lee claimed that he was only looking for his friend, that he didn’t know what was going on, but the police believed that he wasn’t telling the truth, that he may be related to the scam ring, they sent him to Taipei’s D.A. office, and his bail was set at $60,000N.T.s.

The police stated, that the two adolescent girls, in order to escape being locked up by the ring, took the advantage of the time when everybody else was asleep, and climbed out the windows, that they’d made the rope out of their clothes a long time ago, they’d not expected that they’d run out of strength, and fallen down, and sustained the injuries. The police had zoomed in on a suspect now, and is working hard, to catch him.

So, don’t know why these girls had become victims, kept captives, but they’d escaped, and this just shows, how easy these teenagers fall for the scams, because they’re way too inexperienced in life, too naïve, too easily fooled, but, this time, these two adolescents were able to get away, with only a few broken parts, but what about the next time, huh? Maybe someone who tried to escape the next time similar things happen won’t be as lucky at all!!!
