She’s, losing more and more by the day, first, it’s how she kept buying the same groceries, the vegetables, the fruits, the meats, then, it’s how she’d, forgotten to turn off the stove when she’d gone out to buy something.

And, as her dementia progressed, she couldn’t even, recall the names of all whom she once knew and loved, and, she’d often, called her children, by the wrong names too!
Losing more and more by the day, as that, is the progression of dementia, and it’s only gonna, get worse and worse, and worse, and not better, and, sure, there would be, moments of lucidity, moments of clarity that came to her, but, those, are like those, shooting stars, appeared, for no more than just a miniscule of a single split second.
Losing more and more by the day, soon, she won’t even BE able to decide whether or not she wanted to be kept alive, by those machines that beeped on and on, inside that hospital room anymore. Losing more and more by the day, that, is how life goes, you came into the world brand new, fresh, and you grow, learned things, and, eventually, all that you’d learned, picked up in this journey called life, will all get, turned into rubbish that no longer made any sense to you anymore!
