A case of having an affair caused someone to lose his job, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The station manager of the Pingdong County Investigation Station was called out on having an affair with a female investigator, Huang, who was thirty years junior to him, Huang’s ex-husband, who was working at the same office from before collected the evidence, reported him, after the investigation bureau’s director, Tsai learned, he’d punished Huang immediately, demoted him to working in Taichung as a board member, which will come into effect on the 24th of this month.
This affair that was a love triangle involving three investigators, caused a lot of rants within the office recently. A lot of the coworkers told, that Huang is an excellent intelligence, with a lot of connections locally, has a chance of climbing the ladders, but, was fired for having an affair, they felt bad for what happened to him.
Based off of understanding, Huang and her ex, Lee both worked for the Investigative Office in Kaohsiung, last year, they’d transferred up north separately, they got divorced in the middle of this year, and had different saying about the reasons of the divorce; based off what Huang told her friends, her husband often went to the whorehouses and bars, that, was the reason for their divorce, and Lee reported the superior, of being the third man, breaking up his family.
As the office of superiors of the investigative bureau checked, Lee was able to produce the evidence he’d collected of his own ex-wife and Huang’s relationship that extended to beyond just normal friends, that Huang had often taken the opportunity to see his own ex-wife when he had trips up north, and Lee claimed, that the reason why he and his wife divorced, was because of the superior’s intervening into their marriage, that after he married, he’d, stayed true to his wife, and never been to the whorehouses.
As Huang was under investigations, he’d said that it was, a mistake that he was called out, that Huang was merely an old friend, that their interactions are strictly in the office, that they weren’t engaging in any improper misconducts; said, that because before Huang married her husband, he’d once introduced her to his own son, wanting her to marry him, that Lee may be displeased because of it.
And because the evidences that Lee collected was not good for Huang, the Office of Internal Affairs reported the events to the Director, and, Tsai decided, that it’s best, that Huang no longer hold his office anymore.
So, this, is a case where an extramarital affair had, ruined someone’s career, and, despite that the woman was not having a good relationship with her own husband, this other man still shouldn’t have stepped in.
