We just, couldn’t, change anything, as to us, it would be, destroying the memory of you, and that, is something we weren’t, willing to do at all!

Your room is still the same, as you’d left it, and, ever since you were, taken from us, we’d kept, praying, hoping, and wishful thinking, that one day, you will, be returned, back to us.

Your room is still the same, nothing’s changed, and, I’d still go in there, every now and then, to sit on your bed, to touch your toys, to remember the way you were, before you were, taken from us. Your room is still the same, I can’t bring myself, to change anything, because I know how you hate it, when your things get moved, without your permission…

Your room is still the same, and, I can’t, bear, going in, because the “essence”, the memories of you still lingered there, when you’re, no longer, around. Your room is still the same, nothing’s changed, save for you, if you were still here, you would’ve, turned seven this year, my love.

It’d been, five years since, and I’d, finally, worked up the courage, to go into your room, and strangely enough, I’d not felt any anxieties, but instead, I feel this, wave of serenity, coming over me………
