She’s stubborn, everybody knows that, but that was, before her dementia exacerbated, her stubbornness of a thought turned, into a full-blown delusion now.
It was, her stubbornness, her inability to accept that she’s now, demented, and how she’s losing each and every one of her “regular” abilities, one, by one, she’d become, less, and less able-bodied by the day, and all of these combined, had, led to her delusions, about money, that someone is trying, to take her money away from her, when there’s, absolutely ZERO physical proof, that anybody is doing that!

Her stubbornness had, led to her delusions, and now, she’s living in the delusions that everybody’s out to get her (that’s persecutory delusion, by the day, a brand NEW “development”!!!), even as, there are, NO physical proof, of her being, mistreated by anybody she knew. And still, she kept believing, as she aged, as her dementia developed further, and further, that her delusions are true.
Her stubbornness had, led to her delusions, made them, become, more and more persistent as she aged. And, toward the end of her life, she became, totally, and completely, DELUSIONAL, and there’s, just, NO way that anybody that’s still alive, who can, make her “sane” again!

And, she will NEVER lose her stubbornness, ‘cuz she was, born with it, and we all know how difficulty it can be, to lose something you’d been, born with, don’t we???
