The Hidden Pandora’s Box in the Security Net for Child and Adolescent Protective Orders

A lot of meaning can be drawn from this tragedy of death caused by abuse in an orphanage. This boy came from a damaging family, which signified that he’s, destined, to end in tragedy. After all, from the point when the parents abused drugs, got sent to prison, and domestic violence, this had already, caused the child’s safety, it’s no longer, a once-in-a-long-while event, but, what we can expect, from this world right now.

This showed, how there’s, this lacking in the basic protections of the children in caring for the young, that there’s some sort of imbalance already there. And so, when the order for emergent placement passed, it’s only, to prevent the child’s from living in this continually, threatening environment, so they don’t return to their family’s abuse, to then, establish contact again with members of the family, to reform the families, or to replace the family’s functions; then, there’s that, “Pandora’s Box” hidden: the biosphere of the abusive mother, and the relationships the child had already established, can it be enough, to hold up a safety net for the children?

The world is changing quickly, how can we, examine the belief of “families WILL hurt”, and “There are, BAD parents in the world”?

The abuse by the orphanage personnel had, caused an innocent to die, and this became, the last straw that broke the camel’s back. There’s definitely, a need to reset the values, to establish a working system in the orphanages.

There’s no princes or princesses, living happily, in this fortress of protection, the orphanage now, instead, those who came out of the system may be, early bloomers, who are not yet matured, adult-children, and that’s still, not giving enough time to discuss the adults who’d caused the children pain here!

So, in order to solve this problem with the systems, we need to, take it all apart, fix the smaller parts one by one, like having a better social supportive network for the psychologists, counselors, social workers, as they are humans too, and, if they don’t unload things they carried from time to time, things will escalate and when it all comes down, it will cause a lot more damages…and this just shows, how much lacking there are, in the system right now.
