Forgotten, by Her Parents…

The first few years after she’d died, her parents would still cry, every time the anniversary of her death rolled around, and slowly, the parents had, forgotten about her, and, moved on…

Forgotten, by her parents, she’s now, an unclaimed infant corpse, that’s become, nothing but bones, buried, in an, unmarked grave, and, nobody ever even comes, to the place she was buried, to put those, fresh bouquets of flowers, and soon, that unmarked grave was, overcome, grown over, covered, with weeds!

not my photo…

Forgotten, by her parents, she was, she’d become, invisible to them now, and, no matter how hard she’d cried, or how loud she became, her parents just, kept, going about their days, living, separate lives, after she was, taken from them.

She was, forgotten, by her parents, after all, it’s the living that has to, keep on, moving forward, while the dead gets to, rest in peace, but, I wonder how she’d feel, if she could see, how little, she’d mattered, to the rest of the world of the living………

Forgotten, by her parents, she’d become, nothing more, than a memory that’s, rarely recalled, and, whenever that specific memory was, about to surface into her parents’ minds, there would always be, some other, MORE pressing matter that came, to distract them, from remembering her.

…well, at least SOMEONE cared, it’s just that the one who cared for her, was D-E-A-T-H.
