Potted Plant, a Short Prose

 A short prose, translated…

“Why did you remove the potted plant I’d put in the doorway?”

“The office is too cold, the weather is too hot. That potted plant, right next to the sliding doors, every time the doors opened, it would feel the heat, and through the whole day, it would be like it was, taking a sauna, the leaves had almost, fallen, completely off.”

“The potted plant doesn’t belong to just you, if you want to move it elsewhere, the least you can do is tell me you’re moving it before you moved it.”

“Then, I’m telling you right now, I QUIT!”

“Why?”

“Because I don’t want a boss who’s sometimes hot, and sometimes cold towards me!”

So, this can be interpreted many ways, maybe the boss is too inconsistent in his orders to his subordinates that the subordinates simply couldn’t put up with him anymore, or, maybe it’s something more private, the boss may be having an affair with his secretary, and only goes to her when his own wife ignored him, and so, the secretary has now, had it with him!
