A father in Hsinchu was accused of sexually molesting his own elementary age daughter for three years, the child’s mother, aunt all knew, but pretended it never happened, the child was emotionally distraught, even when she was ill in school, she’d refused to get sent home, and it was her statements on Facebook that got noticed by her school teachers; the child’s older brother couldn’t tolerate his own father’s bad behaviors anymore, as his father admitted to what he’d done, he’d secretly filmed his father confessing to molesting his younger sister, and the Hsinchu District Court found the father guilty of sexually molesting his own underage daughter, gave him three and a half year’s jail sentence.
The investigative officers found, that when it started happening, the girl was only ten years old, lived with her parents, and her aunt, started from when she was in the third grade to the fifth grade, the father started sexually molesting his own daughter, but the child’s mother had, ignored the bad behaviors of her own husband, made the girl’s life a living hell.
And the reason this whole thing blew out into the open was as the child entered into the sixth grade, she’d stated on Facebook, “You think all that matter is how horny you get! Don’t you EVER consider how others may feel? You want me to keep your secret, and aren’t you afraid, that I might tell it one day?”, the teacher, after discovering this post by this young girl, inquired her about it, and realized how serious things are getting at home, she’d immediately, notified the authorities, to take the child into protective custody.
The child’s father denied the allegations, claimed that he was only playing with his daughter, and that he’d been a disciplinarian, would restrict her computer usages, denied having sexually molested his own daughter; the D.A. before the trial found, that the father had corroborated with his own eldest son and wife before, and because the eldest son had kept the evidences in recording, the father couldn’t deny the facts.
As the court was in session, the girl’s older brother told, that the aunt had once seen their father molesting his younger sister through the windows, and after mom learned, she’d told, “dad won’t do it again!”, and he’d heard his mother told his younger sister, “just let him touch you, no big deal!”
The verdict stated, that in the testimonies of the older brother, the father had gotten down on his knees, and begged him to not tattle, told him to NOT tell the D.A., and the aunt also tried to persuade him not to tell, but back then, he’d captured his aunt and father’s conversation on film, and stated, “My sister doesn’t lie!”, and the judge, basing on all these evidence, found the father guilty, and the case can still be appealed.
So, thankfully, this young girl had an older brother who stood up for her, and, this just shows, how when a parent does something bad to her/his young, the other parent usually enables, and this, is just not good, and what’s worse was the mother telling the daughter, to “just let him touch you”, what kind of a mother are you, to allow your child to get abused by your husband, huh???
