His Friend Died of Overdose in His Home, He’d Feared Calling the Police, Committed Suicide by His Friend’s Side

Yeh and Tseng were found, dead in a rental apartment suite, their bodies became bloated and black, they were dead, for a number of days already. After the police interviewed the families, they’d suspected that Yeh killed himself by burning charcoal, after his friend, Tseng died of overdosing on illegal substances.

The police stated, that the fifty-two-year-old Yeh rented an apartment suite in the city of Kaohsiung, and the landlord smelled “dead rats”, so he’d went to Yeh’s suite to check, he’d knocked on Yeh’s door, but nobody answered, and he’d opened the doors, and saw Yeh lying dead on the bed, with an unknown mail, with blood spilling all over the floors, wreaking. The police were able to identify the other man who died there, the fifty-three year-old, Tseng.

The police cased the scene of the crime, and found there to be a drug needle next to Tseng’s corpse, there was also, a bucket of burnt charcoal right by the side of the bed, the windows and doors were sealed up with tape too, with a note, left by Yeh, to his daughter. The coroners examined, that the two men had been dead, for at least three days already.

The police found out, that on the 21^st, Yeh went to see his daughter, mentioned to her how there’s a friend who’d become unconscious at his place, that he had a needle sticking out of his forearm, and because he had a drug charge that’s pending investigation, he’d not dared called the police; back then, his daughter told him to have an ambulance come to take care of his friend, and after he’d left his daughter, she’d not been contacted by him again, until two days ago, when his landlord found the two men both dead.

Police suspected that because his friend had overdosed, and Yeh himself has liver disease, was seriously ill, and when he’d returned back to his rental place, he’d left a note, and burned charcoal to commit suicide. But the accurate cause of death won’t be determined until after the autopsies.

So, before the autopsy results came out, we can’t say for sure, what had, killed these two men, but, because this man had outstanding warrant for drug use on him, and he’d feared getting into trouble more with the police, that, was why he’d chosen, to kill himself…
