The three officers, Lee, and others, from the substation in Zhongli, Taoyuan was accused of after arresting the woman for prostitution, asking for a bribe from the pimp, through the middleman, Wang. The D.A.’s office asked all four of the involved to the police station, the officers denied having done anything illegal, but the D.A. still charged all four with taking bribes; the courts placed Lee and Wang into protective custody, and the other two officers, due to the lack of physical evidence, were out on a ten-thousand dollars N.T. bail each.
Based off of understanding, the three officers didn’t deny, that in the process of catching the prostitutes, and took the bribes, but Lee denied all the allegations of blackmailing, and officers, Hong and Lin stated, that they left, right after the busts were made, and really can’t tell what happened afterwards. The Taoyuan City Police Station stated, that the subprecinct that the three officers worked in worked hard, to bust the sex trade, last year, they’d made six separate busts, and arrested fourteen that were involved, and that the police station is not ruling out that someone is setting the officers up; after Lee was taken into custody, the city police suspended him based off of the rules, and stated, that if the officers were found to be involved, they will treat them like criminals.
The D.A. investigated, that Lee (age 43) on the eighth, captured the soliciting hooker, Tang, took her back to the subprecinct, found out that she worked for Lin, and, was suspected of going through the girlfriend’s godbrother to set up meeting with the pimp. Lin the pimp didn’t dare go, and asked a friend to go in his place, Lee ridiculed Lin, “You’d set up this large scale sex trafficking ring you don’t know how to appease to the police, you will get what’s coming to you!”
The investigation unit accused, that Lin, the operator went through Wang, asked Lee to meet next to the subprecinct, inside the super convenience shop, Lee arrived with the woman, Tan, and was suspected of coaching them how to answer to the police inquiries if they were caught, then, set Tang loose; Lee told Lin, the pimp, that Wang is his representative, if anything were to happen, he could just talk to Wang.
So, this, is still for the money, isn’t it? Because it’s a quick way to earn some extra cash, and it seemed easy, that you wouldn’t get caught, but, you were found out, and now, you’re, caught, redhanded! You are, an officer of the law, and yet, you’d, broken god KNOWS how many laws already, are you kidding me here???
