The Wind Blew Across Her Memories

The wind blew across her memories, and, lifted up the dusty grains, carried them off, leaving her, without the memories of her former years of glory…

The wind across her memories, the first time we’d taken her to visit the Great Plains, there was, this gentle breeze that cooled us all down, and, the wind blew off her hat, she’d gone after it, and, couldn’t, find her way back to where we all were!

The wind across her memories, and, all she could remember now, is not even, her own name, and she’d become, tortured by the fact, she’s, no longer able to, look after and take care of herself.

and this, would b what it feels like inside her mind…

not my photo…

The wind across her memories, the wind was gentle toward her, but the impact of the wind, well, it didn’t, feel gentle to her at all, not one bit, for it’d felt like a hurricane, a typhoon, that came AT her with full rage, attacked her, took her memories all away.

She’d tried, real hard, to hold on, to what she could, and yet, because the wind got stronger and stronger with the passing of the days, she couldn’t fight it anymore, and, finally, raised up that white flag over the fortress of her mind!

The wind across her memories, we all wondered W-H-Y? She did, use her mind a lot in her younger years, never had a day of rest, raising her children, who kept her ultra busy, in her day-to-day life…

 not my phoot collage…
