An Indonesian nurse’s aide was suspected of getting raped by the person who’d hired her, and after she’d told the intermediary company about it, she’d collected her own evidence, posted the footages on YouTube, it’d caused rants in Indonesia; two nights ago, the intermediary company immediately called the labor department in Taichung and assisted the woman in going to the police, as the woman told what happened, she got so distraught she’d started, mutilating her own wrist, she was placed in emergency protective custody; the man who hired her, Hsieh, went missing after this, the D.A. sent out an arrest warrant.
The thirty-one-year-old Indonesian female nurse’s aide came to Taiwan last December, she was sent to the fifty-nine-year-old Hsieh’s home, to help take care of his ninety-year-old father this January; Hsieh was suspected of raping, sexually molesting her multiple times, the nurse’s aide couldn’t put up with it any longer, as Hsieh offended her again, she’d collected the evidence in secret using her cell.
The intermediary company told, that the translators received the video footage from the nurse’s aide on August 6th, they thought it was sexual harassment, and had asked the nurse’s aide if she wanted to call the cops, but the woman hesitated, “What about grandma and grandpa?”, and, she’d, let it go.
On the first of the month, the woman sent another footage of her getting raped, the translator showed concern toward the matter again, the nurse’s aide still told them not to call the police, a nd took the footage off of YouTube; but, on August 1st a segment of the footage of a female nurse’s aide getting raped was posted onto YouTube, it was discovered by the Indonesian authorities, with the title of “Taiwan Ini Diperkosa Majikannya (the employers in Taiwan raped the hired help from Indonesia)”, it’d shocked the locals in Indonesia.
The intermediary company immediately set up the paperworks, and changed the female nurse’s aide out, and, on the evening of the 9th, as the people came to take her away, the nurse’s aide told them what had happened to her, and that, was when the people who came to take her away notified the Department of Labor and the police.
And, the female nurse’s aide was so worked up, two nights ago when she was taken into the police station, she’d passed out, she was immediately taken to the hospital, and placed in emergent care, and yesterday morning, she’d attempted to slit her wrist to try to commit suicide, and the workers found her, and stopped her from killing herself. The D.A. took the female worker’s statements yesterday afternoon, then, sent out an arrest warrant, to take Hsieh into custody.
The police told, that Hsieh lived with his parents, his wife, and his older brother and sister-in-law, two nights ago, he’d left and nobody in his family knew where he’d gone, he’d also turned his cell phone off, the police are now, doing all they can, to find him.
So, this, is a bad case, of how an employer took advantage of the one he’d hired, to look after his aging parents, and, it’d taken this long, for this woman’s sufferings to get found out, because she’s in a foreign place, and thought that nobody was going to care, and this woman was intelligent enough, to make sure she’d collected ALL the evidence, and now, when this LOSER is caught, he will face the charges of rape!
