Teaching Through Stories

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the lessons, those stories, have to offer………

Stories, ARE, a WASTE of time! Says W-H-O?

Remember your childhoods’ reading materials of Aesop’s Fables, with the dog that went after the bigger bone in the river, his own reflection, and, ended up, losing the ORIGINAL bone he already had? Or, how about, that crow that was thirsty, that found a way, to make the water level rise up high enough, so he could, quench his thirst?

not my photo…

All of those, are lessons, that children can learn, it’s just, that these lessons were, hidden, inside those, easy to understand tales, that were, fun for them to sort through.

And, it wouldn’t, just benefit the children, if you taught through stories, it can also, benefit the adults too, because teaching through stories will make you (the adults), get in touch, with that child who was, once, there inside of you, awaken that sense of wonder in you…

not my photo still..

Teaching through stories, is a good way to teach, especially, when telling stories to your children, you’re not just sharing the ins and outs of life, giving them the wisdoms that are, hidden inside those stories, you’re also, establish that needed connection, to make your “work” easier, as they get older, becoming teens.
