Found out, a bit, too late is the thing…
Marriage, it wasn’t, what, we’d, expected, we were both, lured (tricked was more like it if you ask me!!!), into the false fantasies of the Happily Ever Afters, without knowing, that that, wasn’t even, a part, of the “equation”!
Marriage, it wasn’t, what, we’d, expected, we were both, too young, too naïve, to know better, thought, that love is the only element that’s, required, to make the marriage work, without knowing, that other than love, there would be, the necessities of, adapting to one another, after all, we were, from very different families, as well as, how the reality would, HIT us both, a bit, too hard, after the honeymoon.

Marriage, it wasn’t, what, we’d, expected, it’d, failed, to perform, up to, both our standards, and, we were both, disappointed by it, and, in the end, we just, stopped working. Or maybe, we’d made, better lovers, than married couple, who knows……………
Marriage, it was’t, what, we’d, expected, and after we’d, realized this, it was, too late, I was, pregnant, too late to have an abortion, and, you’d felt the pressures of supporting a wife, and a child, and, before you know it, everything went S-O-U-T-H.

And maybe, we’d, expected too much of it, this marriage of ours, placed it, on that high pedestal, and, when it’d, failed to “perform” up to “standards”, we’d, stopped working on ourselves, and it, that, was why, our marriage, ended up, dead!
