The engineer, “Kai” asked his parents for six million dollars, to invest in his girlfriend’s company, and told them that if they don’t give him the money, he’ll, kill himself; the parents thought that something wasn’t quite right, and notified the police. The police looked into it and found, that the girlfriend that “Kai” had started “dating” four years ago, was NOT a Japanese-American, she doesn’t have a younger ailing sister, nor is she teaching Chinese, and the police arrested the woman, Jing, who was almost three hundred pounds, and the court agreed to her incarceration.

Jing (age 30) denied having scammed for money, said that she was only told to pick up the money, but, the police were able to find the letters that Kai wrote of his girlfriend, Kaga, the police called Kaga right then and there, Kaga’s younger sister, Ritoru, as well as the instructor, Ms. Kim, and, the police found, that all the cell phones were, inside Jing’s purse, busted her scam of playing all the roles.
The Taichung City police pointed out, that a couple living in the southern regions came to report, that their son, Kai, an engineer came home a while ago, asked for six million dollars from them, said he’d wanted to invest in his girlfriend’s company, that their son may have been a victim of the scams. The police believed, that Kai was a victim, and, convinced him to set up a trap, to capture the woman.

The polie said, Kai used an online friendship app, and met “Kaga”, who’d claimed to be of Japanese and British descent, and because the woman paid a lot of attention to him, the two of them who’d ever met up, started dating; Kaga also asked Kai to help look after her god sister, who lives in Taiwan too.
Two years ago in April, Kaga started an argument with Kai, and cut off contact ever since; not long thereafter, the god sister started contacting Kai on Facebook, claimed that she got pregnant out of wedlock, and needed an abortion, that she’s ill, and needed to pay her rent, that Kai kept his end of the promises, wired transferred several times into Kaga’s Chinese teacher, Ms. Kim’s account to help out, he’d wired close to $80,000N.T.s.
At the end of last year, Kaga appeared oline again, claimed, that back then, after she’d had that argument with Kai, she ran out, and gotten into a car wreck, injured her head, losot her memories, that, was why she’d not called him back, that she’d not known, that her godsister asked for money from him; and said, that there was, a tumor in her brains, needed an operation, and that she’d needed six million dollars immediately, to invest in her new company. Kai didn’t believe it was a scam, tried to get the money, and threatened to kill himself to his parents, if they don’t put up the money, but gladly, the police had, busted the woman.
So, this woman went through the elaboration to set up this scam, to SCAM this lonely man who probably lacked the social skills, to meet others normally, meaning NOT online, and that’s just it, how easy those geeks, nerds, inexperienced men are, to fall, for scams like these, and this, still, won’t BE the last of the dying breed, there will be, more cases like this in the future………
