From the Front Page Sections, translated…

There was a movie that won an awardat the Caan’s Movie Festivals on “abandoning of the elderly in a certain population”, about a certain ancient agricultural society where the elderly lacked productivity, so, the families had to take their elderly to the wilderness to desert, and the elderly who were deserted were, on their own, to survive or to die. This seemingly cruel tradition, brought to light, the problem that societies everywhere face, the point being everybody is going to grow old, there’s NO one that wishes to become outcasted by one’s own society.

not my cartoon…

The problem of the aging communities touched everybody’s life and is on everybody’s mind these days, what’s confusing is, the government or the media had, intentionally or unintentionally posed the elderly population as a burden to the societies. Recently, the Statistical Offices in the news of “As the rest of the population are busying, the aging community ages even faster” stated, that after graduation, the younger generations may have just found a job, and, before they’d worked for a year’s time, but, the elderly population increases by the second, and, they’d lacked that source of income, and lived alone, causing the elderly population to eating into one’s own savings. There are also reports in the media with “the Elderly retired population dipped into their retirement funds to travel and have fun, the younger generations are working so hard, to make just 22K.” etc., etc., etc., making the elderly population looked like they’re the culprits for dragging down the economy.

The pension program added to this conflict even more. The writer of this article worked for the community for years on end, a lot of the elderly put themselves into recycling and volunteering activities, gave back to the community without expecting or wanting anything in return, they’d reduced a ton of the costs of the public community invisibly, but, there are very limited in the population who’d understand, that this sort of an atmosphere isn’t what’s making a country move forward, that the government needs to redirect the direction of what the elderly are contributing.

not my charts and graphs…

So, this, is “spoken” on behalf of the population of the retired, they’re NOT the ones who are killing the economies, it’s just that people are living longer, and with old age, comes the assortments of ailments, conditions that would require more and more funding to look after, and, the younger generation seems to believe, that the elderly population are the ones who are preventing them from getting a higher-paying jobs, when the younger generations are the ones who are dragging the economies down, see how many blood sucking children there are in the world today, and you tell me, that it’s the elderly population that’s causing that huge D-E-N-T in our economies these days…
