Another family tragedy here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
Another family tragedy! Early in the morning today, a mother took her two young children killed herself along with the young children, by burning charcoal inside of her Mercedes Benz, the police broke the car windows, but, the three of them were already de3ad; and the real causes of their death and why they’d committed suicide is still pending investigation.
The deceased was the forty-five year-old woman, Hsiao, with her five-year-old daughter and three-year-old son, the police sealed up the scene, and there wasn’t a note found in the car. Based off of understanding, before Hsiao committed suicide, she’d left a final note, disclosing that she’d wanted to kill herself, and, the family found it and reported it to their local subprecinct, but it was, already, too late as the police chased down her car.
The Hsinbei Police Department and Fire Department received a call around eleven late last night, by people who were up in the mountains, viewing the night scens, that there was a white Mercedes that is running, but the driver was, passed out inside, the people who were there immediately called up the police.
As the police arrived they’d found bowls of charcoal inside, they’d broken the windows, immediately gotten the three people out, but, the three people were lying in the car, with no pulse or breath, and lividity had already set in, they were dead, for several hours already, the passenger side had the burned up charcoal ashes.
The police pulled back the tapes to separate the scene, and found the owner of the car based off of the registration; the families rushed to the scene immediately, the police in the district are still investigating into the reason for the woman’s suicide.
Earlier this May, there was another pair of parents who’d taken their young along to suicide, back then, the scholars believed, that it’s because the eastern belief systems don’t see children as separate individual beings from the parents; the scholars believed, that the parents took on taking care of their young as the duties of their entire lives, and when they can’t live anymore, they’d come up with this sort of a “benefiting them” mindset, to kill themselves, taking their kids with them.
The scholars said, that the countries in the western world emphasized the independence of children, that after the kids graduated, became adults, the parents would let go, and asked htem to be responsible for their own actions; and, there were Asian parents who would take care of their young for life, and this, was the cultural difference.
So, maybe, because life is too hard for this mother, she thought, that she shouldn’t leave her young children all alone, to deal with the hardships of this world, and so, that, was why she’d committed suicide with them, and, although the reason wasn’t stated here, but, you can imagine how much agony this mother must’ve gone through, to finally arrived at the decision to take her own children’s lives, as well as hers too, right???
