Out of Power, a Poem

When your high-tech gadgets stop working, that, is when you are able to, focus on the beauties all around, isn’t it??? Translated…

As I Alighted the Bus, My Cell Phone Was Almost Out of Power

Then, it Went Dead. Followed, by My Laptop, Digital Camera, MP3, Etc., etc., etc.

Magically, Everything Had, Died. And so, I Can, Only Look Out the Window

The Light Filled Up the Skies at Dusk

and this, would be what that looks like, not my photograph…

There Was, a Cloud Dragon Had a Silvery Sword into Its Body Made by the Jets

The Head’s Chopped Off, Becoming a Bloodied Mess

The Darkened Clouds Pressed Down onto the Mountains Near & Far

Closer to the Fields, the Scattered Houses

and this, would be what you would’ve missed out on…

Smoke Started, Rising Out of the Chimenys

That Were, Suspicious with the Power Towers

As Guards Standing Tall, Speedily, Falling, Backwards on One Another

I Turned My Head

Caught a Glimpse of the Purple Glow of the Cell Phone

From the Passenger Sitting Next to Me

Well, that break from high-tech didn’t take long, did it? Nope, and this still just shows how many distractions there are in life, how these high-tech gadgets (cell phones, iPads, whatever!!!) can cause us to stop paying attention to the beauties of nature, which is what we should BE focusing more on, but everybody is, lowering her/his head, focusing on, what’s in one’s hands, ooh, a Pokémon!!!

About taurusingemini

All I have to say, I've already said it, and, let's just say, that I'm someone who's ENDURED through a TON of losses in my life, and I still made it to the very top of MY game here, TADA!!!
