Unqualified people, with NO licensure for the preschool, from the Newspapers, translated…
Multiple parents yesterday went to the city councilman of Taipei, He, to accuse the Elites National Montessori Preschool’s mistreatment of their children, causing bruises on their youngs’ ears as well as psychological distress too, the owner of the preschool denied all accusations, the case is pending investigation right now. The Department of Education also discovered that this preschool was operating without any licensure, and managed to get back the $160,000N.T. that it’d handed out to the school as assistance money.
The preschool’s representative stated, that NO teacher at the school was improperly disciplining the children, that the parents used the minor injuries their children had sustained in school to complain to the kindergarten about how their children were beaten by the teachers, and attempted to use a civil suit to get the money, but, the school didn’t get fined, and so, the parents had, taken the surveillances without the consent of the school, and gone to the press about it, and the teacher in question is already suspended, and the case is pending investigation by the Department of Education as well as the Social Services Department too.
and this, would not be, as I would imagine, what this preschool looked like…
The parent, Ying said, that last October, she’d sent her child to the kindergarten to learn, and at the start of this year, she’d found there to be multiple injuries on her child, and he’d cried without any reasons, she’d asked the schools about it, but the schools didn’t do anything actively, and, as the parents got together and chatted, they’d found, that of the thirteen students that the school took on, six children from four separate families had the similar situations and shared symptoms.
As the parents asked the kids how their teachers taught the class, the kids were scared at first, and refused to talk, in the end, they’d disclosed, that their teachers hit them; the parents stated, that if after their naps the kids failed to wake up, then the instructors would hold their sleeping bags upside down, to “dump” them outm and that as the kids dropped a piece of food at lunch, their teachers would press their heads toward the floors to make them pick it up; and the children who cried and screamed would get locked up, in an empty room, all on their own.
the bad behaviors of the adults…
The department manager of the Social Services Department, Chen said, that they’re looking into the accusations that the parents made toward the preschool right now.
And so, this, is what happens, if the parents aren’t careful at selecting the right kindergarten/preschool they sent their young to, and because this place didn’t have the qualifications, and the parents based their knowledge on what they hear or see, that, is why they’d put their young in danger, and this, is a case of serious abuse of young children!
