Life, the Obstacle Course

Getting Angry, the Dynamics of a Family

Translated…

What makes my mother and my son upset?  They have different things that made them angry, but, when they’re mad, they looked, exactly the same.

When my mother gets angry, she’s throwing her temper tantrums: said she’d wanted to go off, that she’s going off to travel on her own, said she will ignore me from now on, “I’d waited for this long, I’m starving to death here!”—yes, this last part, is the reason why she was angry, whenever my mother gets hungry, if I don’t round up my family and take them out, as the time accumulated, she will get angrier, and angrier, and angrier, and, to her breaking point, she would, erupt, like a volcano.

And it’s different for my son, Loo Chang, sometimes, he would get excited for no reasons at all, to the point of being completely unreasonable, and, I just, can’t talk sense into him, at first, I’d not known why, just thought, this kid is so unreasonable (hence his nickname, Loo-Loo), I’d gotten harsh on him, and Loo Chang showed absolutely NO fear, continued throwing his temper tantrum, and naturally, I’d gotten angrier and harder on him, to sometimes, actually, punishing him, and toward the end, he’d started crying, I started, pitying him, carried him toward my chest to hold, but, in just a few second’s time after I’d started cuddling him, he’d, fallen, fast asleep. ———Yes, when he felt tired, he’d gotten easily angered.

It’s odd, there are just, so many coincidences in life, the grandmother and grandson, one feels hungry, the other one, sleepy, then, we’d have ourselves, a BIG PARTY then, my mother started ranting on how she was going out, I’d tried consoling her, at the same time, I’d needed to, put down the pressing matters I’m handing at the moment, change my outfit, ready to head out to find food, but, Loo Chang, because of his biological clock, started feeling the attacks from the sleepy bugs, he’s already, throwing his tantrum then, ——at this time, I’d needed a couple extra pairs of arms, to handle this well.————and of course, in the middle of all of this, I’d, eliminated the nitty-gritty of the pulls and the tugs, and, the level of difficulty, only falls short of how the U.S. Secretary of State needed to mediate the situation in the Middle East, let’s just, skip to the end result then, I’d always been able to, allow Loo Chang, to sleep soundly in my right arms, and with me left, I’d held tight to my mother’s hand, going out happily, to get food to eat,——and, this moment’s peace, would probably be, the most ordinary kind of happiness I experience every single day.

So, there’s still a lot of similarities between the mother and the grandson, with the son, stuck in the middle, and, it is trying, for this man who’s the middle generation, to come up with a perfectly satisfying solution for dealing with his mother and his son, but, it usually works out at the end.
