Let There be More Love in the World

Translated…

As I walked to the MRT Station, I saw a visually impaired person, selling gun, what caught my attention was the sign on his wheelchair, “Is the world bright enough?  Because of you, it is!”, and, I was, originally, rushing, to catch the MRT trains, I’d stopped to buy gum from this visually impaired man, and I’d asked him, if he was the one, who came up with the statement?  The visually impaired man said, that the sign was made by a stranger with a kind heart that he’d even, made him another sign with a different line on it.  I looked closer, and found, that there was this pretty looking border surrounding the sign, and clearly, the kind stranger was, more than tentative and caring.

At that precise moment, I’d remembered the foreign film I thumbed across on line once, it was about a visually impaired beggar on the streets, because a passerby changed his sign to say, “Today is a wonderful day, but I can’t see it!”, it’d sparked the compassions from all around, and people no longer overlooked him.

not my picture…

I guess, I must’ve bumped into the Taiwanese version of that foreign short film, and, the words on the blind man’s sign was comparable to the foreign film.  So, let’s make sure that the love flows more in this world then!

So, because of the kindness of an unknown stranger, it’d helped the visually impaired, handicapped man, get a little more attention than he would have, and this just shows, that with a little care or concern to someone other than JUST ourselves, we have the ability, to make this world, a better place for all to live in.

like the sign that the narrator saw here at the MRT stations!
