His Birthday Became His Day of Untimely Demise, He Was Only Fifty Meters Away from Home When He Got Hit by a Motorist

A man, Chang, who’s an official of the borough in Shijr, Hsinbei City two nights ago went out celebrating his birthday, after he was wasted, he had his friends drive him back to his residence in Keelung, but, as he was crossing the streets I the pouring rain, he was hit by the motorist, Wu, and died on the way to the hospital, his birthday became the day of his death.  Wu wasn’t drunk, he said, that the rain was pouring down so hard that it’d obstructed his view, he couldn’t see what’s up front, until he’d fell and gotten up, he’d realized, that he had, hit someone.

The police investigated, the fifty-six year-old deceased, Chang, had a birthday on August 12^th, and, that very night, he’d gone out, celebrating with the managers of local boroughs close by, after the party was over at around two in the morn yesterday, he was lifted home by a friend, he got out fifty meters away, at the intersection from his place; the twenty-four year-old motorist who’d hit Chang, Wu, just got off work, and was on his way home from the pub, he’d not seen Chang, walking across the crossways, he’d hit him, with a very high speed.

After Chang flew two meters away after being hit, and Wu fell from his motorcycle too, he’d gotten up, and realized that he’d, hit someone, he’d immediately called the emergency number, Chang was immediately taken to the hospital, but, because he had intracranial hematoma, he’d still died, after the medics tried to resuscitate him for half an hour.

Wu told the police, that back then it was really dark, and pouring hard, he’d felt, that his helmet was obstructed by the rain, he couldn’t see very clearly, he’d not realized, that someone was up front, he didn’t know how he could’ve hit someone; the police tested to see if he’d been drinking, he wasn’t, and, he was sent to the D.A.’s office and charged with vehicular manslaughter.

Based off of understanding, the deceased worked as an officer for his borough for twenty-five years, he was really hardworking, kind to others, the local offices said, that they will allot $150,000N.T. as funeral assistance for the family.

So, this, was purely, an accident, that took two lives, the life of the man who was hit and died, and the motorist’s too, had it not been raining so hard, then, the outcomes of this would’ve been different, but we don’t know, so…
