not my photograph
Translated…
I went out to the lanai in the morn, to collect the clothes I’d left to dry yesterday.
There were, a few consecutive days of cloudiness, there was, a light drizzle yesterday, and after the rain, there’s still that heat, that humidity that’s hovered the air, and, having hung the clothes out for an entire day, and I didn’t know if they’re all completely dried yet, but, this, was the last day of my vacation time, and so, I can just, collect all the clothes up.
But, unexpectedly, as I was about to collect the very last piece of undergarment, I saw, a dark brown shadow, from the clothes, it’d, leapt onto my bosoms, I’d focused, it was, a cockroach!
It’d rushed downward to make its escape, and, leapt onto the floors, before I could come to, and smack down hard on it, it’d, found its safe place, in the dark corners, behind my washer.
I’d folded my clothes up, and I couldn’t help but wondered: this leap had, saved the life of this particular cockroach. I’d wondered, who’d, taught it, this lifesaving skill?
And, sometimes, whether or not we are able to, pass through our difficult times, it all depends, if we’re willing to, just, let the dice roll, isn’t it?
In my kitchen, I’d quickly, put the thought of finding that bottle of pesticides to clean out my lanai, and made up my mind, to save this space of my lanai, for the cockroach.
So, that’s, a lesson you’d learned, from a cockroach, weird, how people can learn something from a pest, vermin, doesn’t it? but that, is sometimes how life is, lessons would come to you, when you least expected it, and, if you welcomed these lessons with your arms wide open, then, you would’ve, gained something from the experiences, and if you don’t, then, you would’ve, missed out, on an opportunity to make yourselves better!
