Guess what the “cause” of this fight is??? Oh yeah, it’s, money, a matter of, inheritance, once again, from the Newspapers, translated…
A pair of brothers, Chien often fought about the matter of inheritance, the two of them went to their mother’s for supper in May, and once again, they’d gotten into it on the matter of ownership of the deeds to the properties again, the younger brother picked up his chopsticks, and, accidentally, penetrated through his older brother’s cheek; the older brother then picked up a bowl, and threw it at his younger brother, and started, beating on him, the two of them went to court. The district attorney prosecuted both on negligent injury, and bodily harm, and asked the judge to pass down a simple verdict.
“Mine!!! No, it’s M-I-N-E!”…
The sixty-year-old Chien had gotten into disagreement with his older brother on issues of collecting rents and inheriting the properties, one evening in May at around seven o’clock, they were at their mother’s place for supper, and, they’d gotten into it again, on the registry of the properties, they’d started shoving at each other, broken the cabinets in the living room, as well as the T.V. too.
In the process, Chien used his chopsticks and accidentally, penetrated through his older brother’s cheek, causing him injury; the older brother couldn’t stand the pain, kept hollering out, “You deserve to die, you’re DEAD, I will show you!”, he’d thrown a bowl at his younger brother, then, beaten him bare hand, causing the younger brother to have contusions on his left cheek, neck pains, and abrasions on his elbows, along with other minor injuries.
The two of them went at it in the dining room, until their mother finally said something, then, they’d, stopped, they’d sued one another based off of bodily harm, injury, and threats and some other charges. As the older brother was being questioned, he’d denied the allegations, claimed, “I’d pushed him because I was defending myself” and denied having used verbal threats, and claimed, that he was going to sue his brother for bodily harm.
The D.A. asked the courts for a simple verdict due to the evidences of bodily injury, and assault; and, on the verbal threats part, Chien’s mother testified that she’d not known about it, there’s not enough evidence, so the D.A. dropped the charge.
See, how money can turn people who were supposed to get along into enemies??? And these two ADULT elderly men still fought, over money, and, it’s all because of that piece of property, left behind, by their family…
