Here to Stay

Here, to stay, you think you are???  Think again, we’re all, living, on borrowed time here, and, as each day flies right past us, we subtract one more day of our lives, from the grand total (Whatever THAT number may be???), nothing in this world IS permanent, ‘cuz they don’t make it like that…

Here, to stay, I’m not, I’m only, a passenger, riding this ride called life, and, who knows, when, I’ll get thrown off, for bad conduct, disturbing the peace, blah, blah, blah?  Or maybe, I will be, well-behaved, sitting with my back straight, the BEST kid in school, the child that EVERY parent wish was her/his.

Here, to stay, I am totally not, I’m only a passenger, riding in this car called life, and, I have NO clue when I will be making, my physical, GRAND exit (already made my psychological grand exit back in ’08), and all I can do, is to make sure, that I live each and every day, to its fullest potential, so when I lay my head down on pillow at night, I’ll be able to, rest easy, given that I’m not having my allergies, that is………

Here to stay, so you think, that even AFTER you’re dead AND gone, someone, anyone’s gonna remember you, aye, is that it?  What did you do, that’s so very important, that makes you think, that people ARE going to remember you when you leave this planet (not migrating to another planet to start a “colony”, of course), huh???
