The visions of a chef, put into, practice, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The chef who specializes in Shanghai cuisine, Chang always had his meals from school, but he’d dreamed of becoming a chef one day, to make the yummiest lunches for his own.  And now, not only did he become a head chef, three years ago, he’d called out to his chef friends, to head over to the distant regions, to cook, for the children in those places.

Chang said, he was raised by a single father, that the meals that he had in his childhood years were, a “fifty-dollar coin” on the tables, he’d dreamed of making the foods for his own young when he grows up one day, to make his family feel his love, by cooking for them.

Three years ago, Chang started a team with his other chef friends, every three months, they’d headed to the distant areas, to cook for the children locally.  He’d recalled, that once, he’d gone to an elementary school, to teach the children how to make sushi with their textbooks, when he’d attempted to cut up the rolled up sushi for a little boy, the little boy took his food and ran off, because he was afraid that his food might get taken away from him.

This shocked Chang, and he realized, that children who grew up with little to no resources are, insecure.  And so, it’d affirmed his own belief, of giving to the distant areas, so children there can have his home cooked meals, he’d helped the children find back their lost smiles with his cooking.

So, this one man still made a difference to a bunch of kids, and the award he received was, well-deserved too, and, he will be, motivated, to keep on, giving to those children in the distant regions, because he saw how much of a difference he’d made to the lives of children.
