It Didn’t Matter? His Girlfriend Had Abused His Son to Death, the Father of the Child Claimed, After She’d Made Bail I’m Going to Marry Her

A woman, Liu was accused that after she’d finished her Valentine’s Day dinner, to have beaten her boyfriend’s four-year-old son, who was a child from her boyfriend’s ex-wife to death, and the little girl a year older was also found, covered in bruises too; in the time Liu was taken into custody, she was out on bail because she was pregnant, and the very next day, she and her boyfriend registered for marriage.  The little boy’s birthmother’s attorney yesterday criticized them harshly in court, “The young siblings were merely the father’s tool to collect living sustenance from the government.”, and the judge asked Liu to use some empathy, to consider the feelings of the mother of the children whom she’d hurt.

Liu and the thirty-four year-old Liu had cohabited for years previously, after Liu divorced his wife from Hong Kong, he’d started dating Lin, and Liu.  The three women he was with had given him a total of five children, his sixth offspring is about to be born this October.

The abused siblings were Lin’s child, the younger brother is developmentally delayed, the siblings lived with Liu, her two sons, and their father in Yangming Mountain.  Liu worked in fixing the mechanicals for a living, doesn’t file his taxes, and asked for the living assistance from the Social Services because he had four kids to raise, he’d received $37,000N.T. a month from the government.

On February 13, Liu started hitting the young boy with a brush with long handles, the child had sustained multiple injuries, bruises on him, the very next day, their father took Liu, and “their two sons” out to a Valentine’s Day dinner, leaving the young girl and boy, to starve on their own.

As Liu the woman returned home, she’d thought that the boy was eating too slowly, pushed the child toward the ground, and the little boy died after hitting his head on the floors.  As the social workers were called, they’d immediately placed the four other children, the young girl was found to have multiple burns on her, she was suspected of having been abused as well.

Liu said, because she was pregnant, she’d lost sleep, became emotionally unstable, and needed to look after four young kids, she’d accidentally, beaten the young boy to death.  She said, the little boy would “keep the food in his mouth, but doesn’t swallow”, couldn’t get potty trained, that she’d pushed the young boy, to teach him, “don’t keep your food inside your mouth, the juices will splash everywhere.”

The D.A. suspected, that they were on government assistance, and they’d gone out to dine at a fancy restaurant.  The attorney hired by the mother of the little boy that died, Chang also criticized, that Liu didn’t contact the birthmother when she was having troubles, looking after her stepchildren, and suspected that the young siblings were merely, “tools their father used to collect low-income assistance from the government”.  The other attorney, Lee pointed to Liu, that she was playing the sob car in court, that her own two children also had the same issues with food, and weren’t potty trained either, and yet, she’d only, “disciplined” the dead little boy.

So, clearly, this woman WAS playing favorites, and because the children getting ignored and beaten up weren’t her own, so, she felt okay about it, and this fitted to the stereotypes of stepmothers being EVIL and ABUSIVE!  And that young boy deserved a WHOLE lot better that he ever received!
