Time Magazine Called U.S. Out on Hypocrisy, for Acting as the Ocean Police

From the Front Page Sections, criticized by one of the magazine in their own country, translated…

The Time Magazine criticized the U.S. didn’t follow the international laws, that they’d not approved the N.A.T.O.’s ocean pact, but demanded China to follow the rules.  The U.S. Navy used its police status, in the name of fending for the rights of the free sailing ships, had been found in oceans everywhere, but, if the laws of the oceans are ruled by the separate nations, then, U.S. who didn’t enter into the pact is behaving hypocritically, and, from the looks, this situation will keep on happening all over.

This report written by Hannah Beech stationed in Shanghai was published on Time’s website, at the start it’d stated, “there was a force in the world that refused to follow the international laws, wouldn’t allow more than 160 nations to enter into the UN’s Ocean Laws Pact, and for years on end, had asked for the amending of the rules constantly, and even as the rules were turned to the country’s favor, the nation still will get affected by the radical protectionists, and refused to follow the international laws.

And this nation that refused to follow the rules was not China, but the U.S.  And when China refused to validate the results of the Southern China Sea Arbitrations, the U.S. shouted loudly, demanded that China followed the international rules.

In 1982, after ten years of debating, the U.N. finally settled the basis of the ocean pacts.

And this just shows, how hypocritical the United States is as a nation, the U.S. had, on multiple occasions, in the name of freedom and justice, butted into other nation’s businesses, and now, its behaviors are, criticized by a periodical in ITS own turf…
