Left His Own Son, a Man Chosen to Die Alongside His Own Ailing Wife, He Had to Take Care of Her All Day Long, the Burdens Were Too Great for Him to Handle

The Wang couple was found yesterday, dead at their residence in Banciao, Hsinbei City, with the note saying that they hope the in-laws can look after their son.  The police investigated and found, that because Wang took care of his wife who’s slowly deteriorating away, and was under more and more economic stress every day, that he’d killed himself via burning charcoal.

The Hsinbei Fire Department received a call in the morning, that Wang (age 39) and his wife (age 38) seemed to have committed suicide together by burning charcoal at their residence, because they were both already dead, the paramedics didn’t take them to the hospitals.  The police found the charcoal used to commit suicide in the residence, at the preliminary examinations, they’d ruled out external forces as cause of their deaths, and they’d believed they were dead for three days already.

The police looked further into the matter, found, that Wang had investment ventures in the restaurant business, car wash, that the family was middle class, they had a son who’s in his elementary years; two years ago, Wang’s wife seriously injured her brains falling off her motorcycle, damaged her brains, she’d deteriorated to the point she could no longer take care of herself, can walk on her own, but needed someone close by at all times.  Because he’d needed to take care of his own wife, Wang sent his son to his mother-in-law, he and his wife rented a place away from them.

Because his wife needed around-the-clock care, Wang couldn’t take care of his businesses in car wash and restaurants, causing there to be a withdrawal from a lot of his major shareholders from before, he’d become pressed by the economics.

The family told, that three, four years ago, the couple moved to Banciao, bought the fourth, fifth floors of an apartment complex, that they were doing quite well economically, and they owned a Porsche as well as a Mercedes Benz; but after his wife’s crash, Wang sold his cars, looked after her all he could, and wouldn’t let the friends and families visit them.  The families and relatives said, they hadn’t heard from the husband-and-wife in several days, that, was why they’d gone to pay them a visit, not knowing, that they had, killed themselves.

So, this, is the hardships of life, because the husband was finally feeling the strains from the household economics, as well as having to care for his sick wife around the clock, the burden was too great he couldn’t handle it, and he’d not thought about asking for help from his or her families, and this tragedy could’ve been prevented, had only this man reached out and asked for some help from outside…
