Time for that widely played game in P.E. and between classes!!!  Translated…

I have this, love-hate relationship with this game that was the it sports back when I was in elementary school; what I loved about it was, it’d allowed those of us who weren’t excellent in the scholastics to shine through, not only were we able to, get the glories for our classes, we could head onto the podiums, and receive our awards from the school principal, to hear the rest of the student body, as well as the teachers, cheering us on, and every now and then, we’d gotten a place trophy as representatives to compete against other schools, we ruled the schools.

What I’d hated about it was: not having shoes, I couldn’t scream out in pain if someone from my team stepped on me, primarily, because I’d not wanted to, affected the main hitters’ minds, and this, was only a small part of the problem, as a famous person on my team, the other team enjoys killing me, and I’d had to, catch all of their throws, no matter how forceful or strong the balls were thrown at me, I’d been able to, catch it with my arms, hands, and abdomen, especially when all who remained on court were just a couple of us, better players, we’d narrowed our attack zones, kept our focuses moved our feet quickly enough, as that, was the key to winning the game, at the end of the games, my hands, and my abs are completely redden, and overcome with great pain, and, for the sake of “face”, I’d not, let out the slightest sign that I was, in pain.

Don’t know that if this game where we were all corralled by the huge square, gotten eliminated if we were hit, is still popular in school today?  As time changed, the years had passed, those fears we’d carried, from dodging from getting hit, that thrill of, hitting someone, they’d all, became blurred memories to us now………

So, this, was a game that we used to play in our elementary years, and, we all loved it, because we love the thrills of the chase, and, none of us wanted to get hit and be out, and yet, eventually, one team’s members will get taken out completely, then, we’d switch from offense to defense, or vice versa.  It’s a memory, that we’d all come to cherish.
