The officer of the Chiayi Safety Squad was gunned down, the District Attorney’s Office of Chiayi charged the man in charge of Zhuchih District, Wang and four others; the court was in session yesterday afternoon, the killer, Liu shouldered ALL the blames, while Wang still stated, “I was wrongfully accused”, asked for the bail to be set, and he was willing to wear an electric anklet to be surveilled, but the judge still mandated ALL four suspects get taken into custody.
The D.A.s believed, that Wang (age 55) was displeased at how the deceased, Lin (age 50) was too close to his own wife, Guan, used two million dollars to ask his cousin, Huang (age 44) to ask a former cell mate, Liu (age 57), to kill Lin, and set it up as a sales of artifacts gone wrong.
Of the four coconspirators, only the shooter, Liu pleaded guilty, and he’d urged the D.A. to press the three other defendants to enter guilty pleas as well; Wang’s attorney, Lo stated, that the D.A. didn’t have enough evidence, that the indictment papers were like a script from a television show; Huang, and Liu’s son both denied being involved.
The indictment papers told, that Wang and his wife, Guan, Lin were all residents of Zhuchih Borough, and all were old friends, two years ago, Guan suspected that Wang had a child from his affair, and asked Lin to look into the matter, she’d started, falling in love with him then; two years ago, Guan found a tracking device planted by her husband in her car, they’d gotten into altercations, and afterwards, filed for divorce, after the divorce, Guan moved to Taichung, and started dating Lin.
Last year in October, Wang’s son who was studying in the States came back, and pushed his parents to get back together, Wang learned of how Lin and his ex-wife were seeing each other in secret, and had Huang, and Liu work with him, to conspire to murder Lin; last year in December, Liu first went to Lin’s wife’s antique shop to buy an item, and, on January 29th, he’d taken a shotgun, and sniped Lin outside the shop, then, with Liu, he was able to flee to Tainan; afterwards, Huang had gone with Liu, to the city of Kaohsiung to pay the two million dollars that he’d promised, for the murder.
After the hired hit, Wang followed Huang’s orders, set up a hiding place for Liu Huang and his friend, Lo (age 28), hid Liu in the city of Chiayi and Zhongpu District, the D.A. called on over twenty witnesses, as well as used the surveillance cameras on the streets, along with the paper trails of buying the weapons, confirmed the four men’s involvement in the murder.
So, what started this ball rolling was how this man was unhappy that the man was seeing his divorced wife, and, that made him set up this murder of the man whom his EX wife was dating, hello, hello, hello??? You are already DIVORCED, and you have NO right to interfere into your ex’s life on who she sees, or dates, and yet, you are still, jealous, of how she was moving on, how she’d found another, and so, you’d, hired someone, instead of doing it yourself, because you don’t want the evidence to point toward you, and yet, you still didn’t escape, you are now, charged with conspiracy to MURDER!
