The story of a man, with WILL so strong, call it a “follow-up” from yesterday’s story if you will, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The story of the man with cerebral palsy, Hsu handing the money for the death of the husband of Lee, who’d helped him before had, moved a lot of people, yesterday, donations of recycle materials came from all over the places to the office of the man in charge of the borough, Yang, asked, to be given, to Hsu but Hsu stressed, that he can use his two bare hands, to make the money himself, that he’d only take the recycling material, and no monetary donations.

members of the public, giving the recycling materials to the man…

Seeing how kindness is flowing in from all corners, Hsu kept acknowledging the world, saying, “thank you, thank you all so very much”, he’d stated, that although he has difficulties moving around, and it would be, more trying for him to recycle the materials himself, but he can still move, that he wanted to make a living, using his own capabilities, that he wouldn’t take ANY donations, and asked the kind people all around, to stop donating to him.

Yesterday, Yang had, returned the over forty envelopes of donations to the senders one by one, and only took in the donated recycling materials, to give to Hsu.  Lee’s boss at around a little past nine in the morning yesterday, drove all the spare cardboard boxes to the offices, and Yang immediately notified Hsu to come and pick it up.

This sort of an ordinary, but heartwarming story, started with Lee, who worked in a cosmetic shop who’d learned of how trying and difficult Hsu had had it, recycling the materials, that on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, she’d always place the cardboard boxes that the shop received, stacked them orderly, placed outside the store, then, asked Hsu to come over to pick them up, so he could sell them, and earn a little money, to make his own ends meet, Hsu saw Lee as someone who he’s grateful towards.

Lee’s husband passed away on the eighth from his illness, Hsu learned this, on the tenth, he’d rode his recycle bicycle to the funeral place to offer his condolences, and gave the white envelope to Lee, but Lee knew, that Hsu needed to sell a hundred loads of cardboard boxes to earn the money, she’d immediately handed the money back to him, they’d started to cry, as they pushed the white envelope back and forth, and everybody around them were moved, as they saw this.

And, after the newspaper reported on the story, the members of the public are moved by the tale, and other than making monetary donations on Hsu’s behalf to Hsu, they are all, planning on donating the recycling materials to Hsu too.  And, from online, it’d caused, an even bigger reply, there were many of the online community that said that Hsu is the embodiment of love on earth.

“There’s a lot of that positive power here”, “Every time I’d read it, I’d cried”, a lot of the members of the online community who thumbed across the story, left messages on FB, there was a member of the online community that wrote, “Although these two are the most ordinary people, but, the story they made, was extremely heartwarming and touching, this, is the show of how there’s love everywhere in the world.”

So, this kindness that was reciprocated was paid a lot of attention to, perhaps, because this world is overcome with all the incidents that are quite heartbreaking, disappointing, making people lose faith, and, this is one that can instill the faith back to the public’s mind, that, is why it’s so popular here right now.
