The kindness you’d shown someone, is surely, felt, and it will get, returned, back to you in the end, from the Newspapers, translated…

A woman who works in a cosmetic shop had been collecting the tossed away cardboard boxes, and given it to the man, Hsu, who’s been diagnosed with cerebral palsy continually.  And, awhile ago, Lee’s husband died, so she’d taken time off from work, after Hsu heard, he’d cried, as he rode on his tricycle used to haul the recycled materials to the funeral home, delivered the $2,100N.T. he’d placed, in a white envelope for Lee, and Lee knew, that Hsu needed to sell a hundred loads of cardboard boxes, in order to earn all that money, she’d given the money back, and just took the white envelope instead.  The two of them held hands, as they cried, the scene was moving.

The Story of Two Good People

Although Lee is close to poverty stricken, and has two children to raise on her own, but she knew, that if she’d taken the $2,100N.T. from Hsu, he’d needed to, sell a hundred loads of cardboard boxes to earn it back, she’d immediately pulled the money out, placed it inside a red envelope, handed it back to him; seeing this, the local man in charge of the borough, Yang posted on Facebook, “it’s such a moving story that two people shared.”, it’d initiated the online community, to deliver more of the white envelopes to the woman.

Lee, at age 35, learned a little over a year ago, through Yang’s Facebook pages, that the fifty-three-year-old man with cerebral palsy had collected recycle materials, to make his own living, that even though he was having difficulties moving around, and recycling materials wasn’t an easy task, he’d still done it, for thirty years on end, she was, truly, moved by his stamina.  With the support of the shop owner she worked under, she’d collected the unused cardboard boxes and placed them outside the shop, and every week, she’d called on Hsu to pick it up.

At the end of last month, as Hsu went to the shop to pick up the materials, he’d found that Lee hadn’t shown up for work for a couple of days, he’d felt, anxious, and, after he’d inquired, he’d learned, that Lee was off, because her husband was hospitalized; and, unfortunately, Lee’s husband had passed away at on the eighth of this month.

After Hsu learned, he was so very sad, on the morning of the tenth, he had his mother accompany him, and wiped away the tears that won’t stop flowing, rode his tricycle, to the funeral home, and her a white envelope of $2,100 to Lee, to show his gratitude for her helping him out over the past year.

The Kindness of “Uncle Cheng”, I Will, Forever, Remember it

Lee saw Hsu sweating, rode his tricycle, with great difficulty, to the funeral home, to offer incense and deliver the money to honor the deceased, she was, extremely moved, and felt awful about it, and, she’d immediately taken out the cash from the white envelopes, placed it into another red envelope, handed it back, to Hsu again, they held tightly to one another’s hands, and, everybody who was there at the funeral all felt the sorrows, Yang who stood close by watching, couldn’t help but cry too.  Lee said, that she will keep Uncle Cheng’s kindness in her mind forever.

So, this, would be how two people interacted, in kindness, because the woman was kind, thoughtful, toward this older man, seeing and noting his needs, and, gave him assistance, so he could make some money, which is why, as her husband passed, the man she’d helped out came to return the kindness too.
