An eighteen-year-old technical high school student, Chen took his mother’s ATM card and left home, took his girlfriend who is one year his junior, Chiu, and made withdraws, traveled across Taiwan, enjoying the gourmet dining experiences, in no more than a month, he’d managed to, squander away over $100,000N.T. in his own mother’s savings; after Chen’s mother found out, she got angry and sued the adolescent girl for fraudulently making withdrawals, and not gone after her own son, the judge mandated that the teenage girl needed to show up for counseling on the weekends, and that she’d needed to pay her boyfriend’s mother over $40,000N.T.s.
As the judge was investigating the cases, Chiu, the adolescent female told, that the password was given to her by her boyfriend, Chen, she’d only made the withdrawals in person, that she’d not fraudulently posed as his mother, and that she’d given all the money to Chen. As Chen was called into court, the judge asked him how he would know what his mother’s passcode was, he’d said, that his mother once told his older sister, that the passcode was their home phone number, plus one more digit at the end, “it’s easy to remember, I’d memorized it after hearing it just once”. After the judge had heard, he felt helpless, asked Chen’s mother to take him home, and discipline him, and that she needed to, change her passcode for her ATM card.
The Juvenile Court in Taoyuan’s own investigations found, that Chen, the technical high school student started dating Chiu last year, and Chiu had become a frequent guest at Chen’s home, and, Chen’s mother felt, that her son had started dating way too young, asked him to “study right now, you’ll have your chance to date later on”; Chen felt that his mother became a nag, last year in April, he’d stolen his mother’s ATM card, and took his girlfriend all over the island, to dine out, and on this trip, he’d made withdrawals from his mother’s bank account, and treated his classmates to karaoke, to eat, as well as the game cards too; in just a month’s time, he’d managed to squander away over $100,000N.T. in his mother’s account and spent it all away, during this time, he’d asked his girlfriend, Chiu, to falsify as his mother to make personal withdrawals twice.
As Chen’s mother came to realize, that the cash in her account is reduced, she’d found out that it was her son who took her ATM card, she’d not sued her son for theft, just sued the adolescent female, Chiu that his son was with for fraudulently making the withdrawals, and asked her to pay.
Chiu had once used the ATM card her boyfriend stole from his mother and made the withdrawals, the judge found her to be an accomplice of the fraudulent withdrawals from the banks, and mandated that she shows up for counseling on the weekends. And because some of the money was from Chen’s mother to Chen as his school tuition, the judge subtracted it, and mandated that Chiu pay Chen’s mother $40,000N.T.
You do realize, how this is still a case, of a mother, spoiling her own son rotten, right? So, you have to wonder, how come, when this pair of Bonnie & Clyde were caught, only the girl was severely punished, and why the guy’s mother only pursued charges against the guy’s boyfriend? Oh yeah, because ALL you mothers hover over your fucking little boys, no matter how old they get, and so, we, other women unrelated to you, are left, with the blames, and what is that teaching your own young? Nothing good, that’s W-H-A-T!!!
