A thirty-one year-old Indonesian migrant factory worker, Kami, because he was displeased at how his girlfriend, Lana, also from Indonesia cheated on him, and asked him for money. After they had a serious argument inside the factory where he’d worked, Kami first stabbed his girlfriend, then, he picked up a no-longer-in-use pump motor that weighed over three kilograms, threw it against her head, she’d died in a pool of her own blood at the factory where he’d worked.
The police investigated, that the factory where the crime occurred hired over twenty migrant workers, and the suspect, Kami worked there for two years. The factory said, the man kept a regular schedule, that they’d not detect any abnormal behaviors from hi. His girlfriend from the same hometown worked as a nurse’s aide in Shijr, Hsinbei City. Lana had gone to Yingge to visit Kami from before, several of the factory workers reported seeing her around, but none was aware of them being a couple.
Yesterday, at two in the afternoon, Kami and Lana rode back to the factory sharing a cab, they’d walked straight into the sleeping quarters on the second floor, and started arguing, then, Kami took Lana to the third floor where there was a storage unit and a cloth rack, not long thereafter, some of the employees heard her scream.
The other employees realized something wasn’t right, they’d, immediately, rushed, upstairs to check, and they bumped into Kami, who was dragging Lana, who was covered in blood and limp, they’d immediately stopped him, and had the factory owner call the police. The police rushed to the scene, found blood all over the lanai, and found a disfigured knife, with the broken handle, and the water pump, covered in blood, the police believed this was, the primary crime scene.
The police were able to get a statement with a translator present, the suspect admitted to having an argument over how the victim was breaking up with him and asked him for money, they’d gotten into a serious fight, he’d grabbed a fruit knife from his sleeping quarters, threatened Lana to go to the roof, as they’d gotten into it again, in a heated moment, he’d stabbed her, then, picked up the broken motor, and threw it toward her head. After the police finished hearing him out, they booked Kami for murder.
So, the cause of this murder was still love, or a love that’s dead and gone, and because this man felt raged that his girlfriend was breaking up with him, because he suspected that she’d started seeing someone else, the jealous rage was what drove him to kill his girlfriend.
