Nobody Would Want to Marry Me Now

Word, out of mouth of BABES!!! Translated…

When our baby girl was just four, she’d once told us, that there was a boy in her class, that asked to marry him after she’s older, as a father, although I knew, that they’re just, childish words, and to not take it seriously, but still, I can’t help but feel alarmed, and I’d asked my wife, to help educate my daughter, that she shouldn’t give her heart to just anybody out there, that she must get consensus from both of us, and, my daughter looked like she was trying hard, to comprehend what my wife was telling to her, it was so cute.

not my photo…

And, as the semester progressed, one day, my daughter came home with a frown, pouted up her lips, told us, “Nobody wants to marry me anymore!”, turns out, that little boy who’d proposed to her transferred to another kindergarten, and, my daughter cried as she inquired, “Will I get married in the future?”

Not knowing whether to laugh or cry about it, I took her hand, and consoled with her, but I couldn’t help, but pray to the heavens above, hoping, that she can, grow up slower, and stay by our sides longer, because as her dad, I can’t bear the thoughts of her, growing up so quick, and I’d had to, give her hand, to another.

not my photo still…

So, this, is the love of the father toward his baby girl, and, it’s very cute, because this little girl had that childish innocence that’s about her, being as young as she was, and, the adults in her life interpreted the situation with an even more depth of understanding…
