The director of an animal shelter who’d tried proving her point with her own life, hoping, that the world becomes more aware of the situation of euthanasia of animals, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The female director of the New House Animal Protection in Taoyuan used the meds to euthanized animals to kill herself, her death had made the city of Taoyuan promised, to fill up the lack of personnel needed, and the Agricultural Committee promised, that they are going to allot 1.9 billion dollars N.T. to make up for the lacking of funding, to improve the soft and hardware of the place, and to hire more workers.

The mayor of Taoyuan Cheng stated, that in the past, with the opinions from the society, lacking of equipment, it had, caused the burdens to become heavier on the people on the frontlines like the total animal population that entered into the local pound is up to over ten thousand animals back in 2013, and from January to April of this year, there were, over 2,500 animals that were dropped off, and, although the adoption rate4 was increased to seventy-six percent, and the death rates declined to .32 percent, but the workers in the pound had become totally stressed out, as the number of abandoned animals is still on the rise, and everybody is under great amounts of pressures constantly.
The mayor, Cheng demanded, that the Department of Agriculture should send in extra staff members, to fill the lack of personnel.
And, toward the high-pressure environments that the workers are working under, the mayor also asked the Sanitary Department to offer the help that the frontline workers required.
And, it usually takes a loss of a HUMAN life, for these sorts of issues to “float” up to the surfaces, and, hopefully, that the mayor here isn’t just making empty promises of improving the situations, that he will actually, take ACTIONS to make the improvements, so, no other person has to D-I-E, just to make a point!
It’s difficult to find well informed folks on this matter,
but you sound like you realize what you’re talking about!
