From the Newspapers, translated…

A man in his twenties, living in Hsinbei City, Weng, two years ago, had a meal away from home, and saw that another man, Tang, arguing with the owners of the diner, he’d consoled, “don’t give the man any more trouble”, was sued for injuries, and although the courts found him not guilty, he’d carried a grudge sine, this March, he was suspected of setting Weng’s motorcycle, parked, outside of his residence on fire, the fire made its way upstairs, caused the death of Weng’s father, his uncle, along with four other members of his family to die. The Hsinbei District Attorney’s Office charged Tang with murder, along with other charges.

The deceased were six members of Weng’s family, his wife, his brothers, and his nephew, Lin was able to walk away unharmed, and because Weng was serving his army terms, he escaped death, but having lost his loved ones, his parents, his older sister, he was in deep grief. The D.A. told, that Tang was displeased at how the judge ruled, and got back at Weng and his family by committing arson, they’d asked the judge to enforce the maximum sentence for him.

The officers investigated and found, that Tang had worked as a security guard for a residential building, on the early morning hours of March 23, he’d drenched newspaper with gasoline, then, lit up Weng’s motorcycle, which was parked at the entrance of his apartment, he’d managed to destroy a total of thirteen motorcycles, and the fires raged upward upstairs. The family climbed up to the fourth floors to hide out, but, they’d all died of high heat burns, and suffocation; five of the six people were, close by one another, and his daughter had arms wrapped around her, and they were all, burned to black.

At first, Tang denied having committed arson, claimed that he’d wanted to confront Weng, that he’d not wanted to “get caught by the cameras” that, was why he’d pushed the surveillance upward; and the reason for him carrying the gasoline was because he’d often run out of gas while riding, but he’d not passed the polygraph, and his motorcycle’s gas was a different kind compared to what he’d bought. His lies were busted one by one, he’d changed his statements to, “I didn’t think it would cause this server a damage”, that he’d not had the intentions for murder; the D.A. charged him with murder, public endangerment, along with other charges.

And so, the cause of this violence that eventually led to the deaths of multiple persons is this man, holding a grudge, and he felt uneven, and he’d taken it out on others, causing the lives lost to become uncalled for.
