He’d Not Done Well Enough on His National Exams, His Older Sister Called Him a “Leech”, He Was Angered and Murdered Her, Received Eleven Years in Prison

This man was originally very angry at himself, for not passing his examinations, and, his sister insulted him, and that, was what made him CRACK!!! From the Newspapers, translated…

A thirty-six year-old man, Lee had not gotten a high enough grade for six continuous years on the national exams, last year, he’d again, not made it, he was very depressed, and was made fun of by his bipolar older sister as a “leech”, he’d stabbed her to death, the Hsinbei District Courts found him guilty of murder, gave him eleven years in prison yesterday.

The manager of the mental health safety organization, Yeh said, for the families that have members with psychological illnesses, there’s a huge strain, and that they’d suggested, if the families felt like they’re no longer able to take it, they MUST seek help from outside, if the members kept everything locked in, bottled up, it would usually, end in tragedy.

The investigative officers found, that as Lee was in his twenties, he’d started taking the national exams, but each and every year, he’d not scored high enough; Lee’s sister was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, would become unstable emotionally, and would lose control at home, attacked her parents, she and her younger brother got into confrontations constantly.

Lee claimed, that his sister made fun of him, called him a “leech” last September, the two of them had knives and was at a deadlock in his older sister’s bedroom, Lee stabbed his older sister over a dozen times, causing her to have multiple puncture wounds on her neck, her chest, her abdomen regions, she’d died from losing excessive amount of blood, and he’d failed at attempting to commit suicide.

Lee claimed, that it was self-defense, but he’d written a last note, and it’d mentioned, “Mom! I’d told you, a long time ago, I will, KILL her!”, “Without the two of us around, the family will fare much better”, etc., etc., etc., showed that his murdering his older sister was premeditated.

The judge took into considerations, that his family had forgiven him, and he was under great mental stress, he’d not done well in the exams, and his older sister made fun of him, plus, he’d shown signs of remorse, that he could still be reformed, gave him eleven years, it can still be appealed.

Yeh, from the Dong-Shi Foundation said, the family members of those who are diagnosed with mental illnesses should keep the patient on the medications, and if they feel that they’re up to their limits, they must seek professional help from the outside, so everybody can chip in, “at least, that way, the primary caretakers won’t feel so alone”.

So, we have here, another man who was PUSHED over the edge, and the breaking point was when his older sister insulted him, and this is still caused, by a series of events that’s already escalated, and built up inside of this man, he was already under great amount of stress, already beating himself up for not doing well on the examinations, and, his older sister’s verbal insults then became, the FINAL straw!!!
