These, are the words, that hurt deeply, the ones that left, a scorch mark on the souls…
“You’re Ugly!”
“You’re Too Fat!”
“You’re Not Good Enough”…
Along with the assortment of negative things that one can come up with, to say to each other too. These words that you’d said to me, that left that scorch mark, it’s still, hurting me, although it’d been ages (literally speaking!!!), since I heard them from you, I just can’t forget how as those awful things flowed from your lips, how they’d, grabbed me by the throat, and choked me until I can’t even………breathe………
The words that left a scorch mark, once that burnt mark had “settled in”, it will, NEVER, EVER, E-V-E-R, be erased, and, the soul becomes, damaged from henceforward. The words that left a scorch mark, I’d found a way, to undo the hurt you’d done unto me, not through forgiving you for what you did, of course, but through, forgiving myself, for being too young, too vulnerable instead.

The words that left a scorch mark, they hurt still, don’t they? Although they’d all happened, so very long ago, they’re still, clear, inside your mind, aren’t they? Well, it’s gonna take, longer than an entire lifetime, for you, to finally forget what’d happened to you (and that is outside from your blocked memories!!!), and, another lifetime, for you, to finally, forgive yourselves, for being too vulnerable, but, uh……hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, do you got TWO lifetimes to waste here??? Uh, nope, you are only, “allotted” (like in assigned???) just THIS one lifetime, and whatever it is that you don’t get done in THIS current lifetime does NOT (I repeat: D-O-E-S N-O-T), get CARRIED over to the NEXT “time go ‘round”!
