The Cries in These Midnight Hours…

Translated…

I’d recently gotten really into the novel “Ghosts, Blowing Out the Lanterns”, and would often, follow, the storyline until the midnight hours. Last night, as I slouched in, comfy, underneath the covers, I’d gotten to the part where the main characters were about to, open up an iron cast coffin, but they’d heard the nails, screeching the coffin from within the coffins………

All of a sudden, I felt three light scratches on my back, and, it’d, shocked me that I’d immediately, hugged tightly onto my covers, and sat up, with my body completely stiffened, I’d to dared, to make a single move. Then, in the darkness, there came, a series of cries, hearing this sort of cries at two in the morning, to tell the truth, I felt like my heart was going to, stop. But, I’d, taken a closer look, turns out, that it was my daughter who was sleeping next to me, crying. I was still, very thrilled, I’d gone up to her and inquired, “What’s wrong, baby?”

not my picture…

She’d started, in a sniffling voice, “I want to get up and out to go to the bathroom, I can’t see you, and, I’d touched your quilt, and all of a sudden, your quilt turned into a big monster.”

Turns out, having the two of us, very imaginative being, sleeping next to each other, the results were, I shocked her, and she shocked me, we were both, scared together.

not my picture still…

How the imaginations can run wild here, because you were so caught up in that ghost story of yours, and your daughter had a vivid dream of monsters, and, the two of you ended up, scaring each other, that’s some memory made by you both all right!
