A thirty-year-old woman, Lin in Hsinchu was found by her husband, at their home, having hung herself to death, their three and four-year-old children were both, lined up, on the bed, with NO signs of life; the police found the note that Lin left behind, “I’m too tired, I’m taking the kids with me, do take good care of yourself…”, the police suspected that she was overwhelmed by her physical ailments, and felt trying for having to care for their two young children that it’d become, too difficult for her, she’d suffocated her two young children first, then, hung herself. The District Attorneys are not ruling anything out until they have a chance to autopsy the bodies to find out the main causes of death.
The police had, sealed up the woman’s residence for investigation, they’d found her husband, dumbfounded, and he’d had, an emotional meltdown, he couldn’t understand why his wife committed suicide, and took their two cute kids with her too. Based off of understanding, because he couldn’t cope with the fact that his wife and children are dead, he’d attempted to leap out of the air vent windows of the bathroom of his own home, the Sanitation Department of Hsinchu’s suicide prevention center immediately had psychiatrist, as well as members of his family to head to his place to calm him back down, they’d forced him into hospitalization first, hoped that he wouldn’t do anything stupid.
The police investigated and found, that Lin’s husband entered into their apartment after work at five-ish, he saw his own wife using the shoestrings, hung herself on the beams to commit suicide, their three and four-year-old sons are lain, next to his wife’s body on the bed, the three of them are not breathing when they were discovered by him, he’d immediately called the police.
As the fire department rushed to his home, they saw Lin and the two young children had been dead for several hours, they’d not taken them to the hospital; the police arrived immediately thereafter, closed the scene to investigate, the police found that everything was orderly, that there were, no signs of forced entry, and that on the two young children, there were no visible bruising or apparent external injuries, and suspected that the children were smothered to death by suffocation.
Based off of understanding, Lin’s husband worked as an engineer at the Hsinchu Scientific Park, Lin was a stay-at-home mom, they were not having troubles in the marriage, or having economic difficulties either. Lin was troubled by stomach pains from before, and she’d gone to the hospitals; she’d disclosed suicidal thoughts to her husband, and about two weeks ago, she was treated at the psych ward of a hospital.
Although Lin was having health issues, she’d gotten along well with her loved ones. As her husband went off to work yesterday morning, he saw his wife and children are all okay, unknowingly, that he’d come home to find them all dead. Lin left a two-page suicide note, the first page had detailed the household finances, where her bankbooks were placed, on the second page, she’d stated, simply, “I’m really tired, I’m taking the two kids with me, do take good care of yourself.”, etc., etc., etc.
And, it also said here, that the family wasn’t a high-risk, without difficulties in the household economics, or the reports of domestic violence, so, you still have to ask: what made this woman finally CRACK, and, took her two young kids with her? And, all we can say is that she must’ve been troubled by her mental condition for a very long time, and finally, she’d decided, to take her kids with her, and put herself, out of her own misery, and it’s just, a really, awful loss for the husband who’s the sole survivor in all of this.
