Another case of parents’ carelessness, causing the death of a young child here, when, will you, parents, EVER learn!!! From the Newspapers, translated…
A six-year-old girl, Hsu in Zhonghe, Hsinbei City, yesterday morning, was left home alone, by her mother who was looking after her, in their ninth-floor home, she was suspected of climbing up and out the window of the bathroom, and fell nine stories to her death; last night, the police booked Hsu’s mother on negligence homicide, the D.A. believed, that there was no need, to keep her into custody, and asked her husband to take her home.
The Children & Teen Sector of the Social Services Department’s manager, Yang stated, that based off of the laws to protect children and adolescents, children six-years and younger who are left alone, on left in improper care, will get fined from $3,000~$15,000N.T.s. Just last year, the city of Hsinbei had written up fifteen separate citations, and Hsu who’d died yesterday was already over six years old, so, there was NO law that the parents broke, but, the other parents should still pay heed.
and, you still DO realize, that the likelihood of this happening, is very high, right???
The police investigated, that the girl who’d died was the eldest child, that at eight o’clock in the morning yesterday, she should’ve been taken to a preschool in Banciao, but, before her mother took her to school, the child complained that she felt ill, the mother then, left her home alone, and, took the younger daughter to school.
At nine in the morning, the security guard heard a loud sound that came from the courtyard, he’d gone to check, and was shocked, to find the girl, lying on the ground, not moving, he’d immediately called the emergency services, she’d died; the police went door-to-door, and saw that in Hsu’s ninth floor residence, the window to the bathroom was opened, they’d rang the doorbell, but no one answered, and the police called for the mother to come home, to confirm the identification of the young girl.
The police said, based off of Hsu’s mother’s testimony, it was suspected, that after the nine-year-old woke, she couldn’t find her mother, ran to the bathrooms, saw the windows open, she’d climbed on top of the toilet, then, out the window, and, accidentally, fell, from the ninth floor, and that Hsu’s mother was negligent.
and, you still have to wonder, WHY, does this keep on happening???
So, here, we still have a parent who was, WAY too careless, causing the DEATH of her own daughter, and this could’ve well been prevented, had the mother brought the six-year-old, to drop off her sister, but the mother failed to take into considerations, that after her six-year-old wakes up, she might look for her, and that, was what caused this tragic accident…
