A tragic accident had occurred here, and the life of a two-year-old, lost!!! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
Two nights ago, a man, Huang from Shui-Shang Township was suspected of drinking and driving, took the recycled bottles to the recycling place ran by Hsu to sell, as he was backing out to leave the place, he’d backed over Hsu’s two-year-old child, because he thought he’d run over some objects, he’d driven his truck forward to leave the place, ran over the toddler again. Hsu the toddler was run over twice, seriously injured, and in critical condition. After the police interrogated, they’d booked Huang based off of pubic endangerment.
After the accident, because it would be a long wait for the ambulance to arrive, Hsu drove his own son to the Christian Hospital in Chiayi for rescue. The doctor said, that Hsu’s skull, and ribs were all crushed, that he was bleeding internally inside his lungs, and they suspected that lacerations were in his liver as well, after they’d managed to get his life back, they’d, intubated him in the children’s I.C.U.

The child’s father said, that everybody was distraught after what had happened, that the forty-three-year-old Huang had been a long time working partner in his business, that after reviewing the surveillance footage, he believed, that Huang didn’t run over his son intentionally, and all that they can do for their son is pray.
So, had this man not had a little, or too much to drink, then, maybe, this accident could’ve been avoided, but this man was drinking, and he was not paying close attention to the road, that, was why and how this accident had happened, and now, a child’s life is, hanging on by a thread because of this man’s carelessness.
