Scamming the people here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

Three years ago, a man named Lee became a part of a not-for-profit organization that helps look after elderly people who live on their own, as he’d taken care of the elderly he looked after overseeing their final affairs, he’d found, that the not-for-profit organization wasn’t keep a close enough eye on where the money was used, last year in January, he’d started forging the death certificates of eight elderly, to scam for the money that were given, as well as the transportation fees, amounting up to over $2.4 million N.T.s, until the organization started discovering and wondering “how come ALL the older adults he’d looked after all died?”, and after the organizations sent out the workers to conduct the family interviews, they’d found, that the elderly who were written off as dead are all very well and alive, and that, was when Lee’s scam busted.

As the police questioned him, Lee admitted to what he’d done, claimed that he’d found the blank death certificate forms online, and that he’d gotten anywhere from $200,000 to $300,000N.T. each time, said that “it’s a much quicker to earn the cash!”, the D.A. found him responsible for forging the documentations as well as fraud too, and indicted him based off of forging documentation, which was a very serious offense.

The investigations found, that Lee (age 30) became a part of the organization three years ago, he was responsible for making visits to the elderly who lived alone, starting in January of last year, he’d used the names of the hospitals, the local sanitations offices, to forge up the death certificates, and managed to commit fraud on eight of his victims’ government allotted assistance money.

Last November, the members of the organization discovered something weird, that the elderly overseen by Lee had died one by one, they’d felt that something wasn’t quite right, they’d made visits on their own time, and, other than one elderly woman, Chen who had actually passed away, the seven others whom Lee said were dead are still alive and well, the group then realized, that Lee had been scamming them. The group looked deeper into the matter, and, found, that four months before the elderly woman, Lee actually died, Lee had been falsifying himself as her, and took ALL the government assistance money into his own pockets.

And so, this, is one BAD thing to do, you were supposed to help these elderly, but instead, you’d seen them as, a QUICKER way to make yourself rich? And on top of that, he’d not only forged their DEAD certificates, he’d also, took the money that were supposed to have been for the elderly’s living, into HIS own pockets, and, if that’s not bad, I don’t know what would consider as awful!!!
