Too Much Work, Can’t Get Paid, the Nanny Threw the Infant to the Floors to Release Her Own Angers

A woman, Chen, who was in charge of operating a nursing center was suspected of being too stressed out, the parents delayed their payments to her, along with the multiple pressures, she’d lost control, and, slammed the nine-months old infant girl she was holding on to who just won’t stop crying toward the floor, causing the infant to suffer severe head trauma, and afterwards, she’d managed to delete the surveillance footages of her behaving badly, to avoid being zoomed in by the police. The Taichung District Attorney’s Office charged her with physical abuse yesterday, and asked the judge to give her the maximum punishment.

The indictment pointed out, that Chen (age 51) owned and operated a nursing center in Taichung, last year on the morning of October 20^th, Jiang, the infant girl wouldn’t stop crying, Chen tried soothing her by holding her, but she’d still cried endlessly, and because she was stressed out by the number of tasks she’d needed to complete, and how some of the parents had delayed the payments again, and again, she’d lost control of her own emotions, and, tossed the infant girl from almost 3’5 height, the infant girl suffered severe trauma to the head, afterwards, Chen deleted the surveillance footage, to evade the police and the District Attorney’s looking into the matter. The Taichung D.A.’s Offices prosecuted Chen based off of severely injuring a young child by abuse, and asked the judge to give her a heavy sentence.

Chen claimed, that she wanted to put the infant girl down, but her arms grew limp, that, was why the child had fallen to the ground, denied having thrown the infant onto the floors intentionally. And, because she was standing, facing the surveillance camera, that, was why she’d deleted the footages, and on that same night, she’d taken the main frames of the surveillance cameras to the shop.

After the infant was injured, Chen realized the seriousness of what she’d done, she’d immediately called her husband for help, and notified the parents of the infant girl, rushed the infant to the hospital. The doctors performed emergency surgery on the infant, to remove the blood clots in her brain, saved her life, but because of the other complications of her right hemisphere’s subdural hematoma, with both her optical nerves damaged, she’d started showing signs of difficulties in swallowing, and movements too, and the doctor diagnosed her with shaken baby syndrome from abuse.

So, it’s still, ALL because the woman couldn’t keep HER own emotions in check, she’d lost control, and, managed, to hurt this innocent young child, and, that’s another life that’s damaged, by the carelessness, by the uncaring, unconcern natures of the adult caretakers in the world.
