Forgiveness, Bitter, AND Sweet…

Just like that cup of coffee, started out, bitter on your tongue, but as it trickled down your throats, it’d given you this, sort of a different kind of an, aftertaste, well, that, is what forgiveness “tastes” like too, somewhat…

not my picture…

Forgiveness, bitter, because it takes, a VERY, VERY, VERY long time, until you were able to, finally, first, forgive YOURSELVES for whatever it was that’s already happened in your lives, and, everything UP to the moment that you’d decided, to let go, to give yourselves a break, had been, paved with, bitterness, but the moment you’d decided, to let it all go, that, is when forgiveness tasted, ever, oh so sweet, and, you look back, on the trials of your lives, and realized, that ALL of your previous years of hardships, sufferings, and whatever had been, more than worth it, leading up, to this particular moment, when you’d finally found, that hard labored-for value you’d been searchin’ all over and so long for.

Forgiveness is bitter AND sweet, and the two opposites can’t exist without one another, because without the bitterness that preceded the sweetness, then, you wouldn’t come to understand, just how sweet the hard works of your labors to forgive someone, or to be, forgiven by someone really IS. Forgiveness, bitter AND sweet, and, until you’d undergone the process of experiencing through the hardships, in wavering between forgiving yourselves, as well as others, for the wrongs that’s happened to you, you can NEVER be able to, taste the sweetness that’s, at the very end of that long, hard, AND winding journey that you’d been on for so very long…………
