In the past two years, there had been, two separate incidences of rape, and sexual molestation, in the Taoyuan City Government’s offices, causing the female workers to fall into a frenzy! The city councilman accused yesterday, that there were the heads of the offices who’d started sexually molesting, raping their female subordinates after a party, and, there were, male employees who’d photographed themselves masturbating inside the office building’s public restrooms, asked the city government help stop this bad trend.

The city government replied, that there were the gender equality committees set up all over the offices, and that victims can file a complaint through the necessary means; and that they are going to, help increase the level of trust that the female workers of office feels toward the committees, so the perpetrators will get punished by the laws, to protect ALL the female employees’ rights and safety at work.
“Don’t EVER just keep everything to yourselves”, the D.A. pointed out, that there are, many ways that the victims can help themselves, including telling the details of the events to the close coworkers, the loved ones, using LINE, the calls, the text messages or the e-mail, to keep accords of the apologies that the sexual predators left, then, turn all the evidence into the gender equality committee, or, they can head straight to the D.A.’s to press charges, and, ask for repatriations on a later date, just don’t keep everything hovered up, and allowing that wolf superior to get his way.
The city councilman, Liu stated, that there were two male employees, who’d used the name of welcoming the new workers into the office, they’d skipped work and invited a female coworker who’d just started working for no more than a month’s time to drink, and, they’d drugged her, took her to a motel to rape; another rape occurred last year after a banquet at the office, the head of the department molested and raped the female subordinates with his hands, and both cases had already been turned over to the police already.

The City Councilwoman, Kao also pointed out, that there was, a male boss who’d used foul language with his female subordinates, and he’d even photographed his own genitals, and sent the pictures of him, masturbating to his female subordinates. The female employee couldn’t put up with it, and became paranoid that she was followed, became psychologically troubled; and, after the case blew wide open, the male manager resigned from his post.
There was another male manager who’d pursued after a married female coworker, and the woman had told him multiple times that she was already married, turned him down, and, even had her husband pick her up and drop her off to and from work, but the male manager said to the female employee, “Your husband isn’t good enough for you”, and commended that “You have beautiful legs”, “beautiful breasts”, etc., etc., etc., used the sexually-illicit languages to arouse her, causing the woman to become troubled, after the manager of their department learned, he’d transferred the man to another unit at the office.
Wan believed, that because the female workers were afraid “of how the other coworkers would perceive them”, “how the superiors would stand on the sides of the managers”, along with other reasons, they’d kept these things that’s happened to them to themselves, and they can only, complain to the city councilmen, asked the city government to make the work environment more gender friendly.

So, why the HELL do women put up with these instances? Because, like the article showed, they’re afraid, as the men are in a higher up status, and, they’re afraid of the world’s interpretations of them, that the world may start blaming the victims, for dressing up too provocatively, for whatever, and that, would only keep these SEXUAL predators more and more active out in the world, so, reporting on the incidences as it’d happened would be the BEST way to handle it!
