The Burdened Elderly Years, the Great-Grandmother Recycled, to Raise the Four Total Generations, Took Care of Her Own Great Grandchildren

From the Front Page Sections, trending N-O-W!!! Translated…

The Taiwan Fund for Family Organization assisted over 27,000 families in Taiwan, nearly thirty-percent of the families had caretakers with health problems, there are, fifteen percent of the families with children who are developmentally delayed or with health difficulties. The foundation pointed out, that the situations in these families are made up of the ill, caring for the ill, which in turn, caused the vicious cycles of overcome with poverty and sickness, and, in the future, these problems will become worse and worse.

The C.E.O. of Taiwan Fund for Family Organization, He pointed out, that a lot of the caretakers in the poverty-stricken families are working very hard, to provide for the families, and, they’re barely, making ends meet, and once they were overcome with illness, they were, unwilling, to spend the money on seeing the doctors, causing the families to get crushed by poverty and sickness. She’d stressed, that the external supports are very important, and so, that, is why the Taiwan Fund for Family Organization is an advocate for children becoming more educated, the foundation had an assortment of methods, to put the children through school, hoping, that they will be able to, overcome their life’s conditions later on in life.

And the ratios of migrated citizens, cross-generation childrearing, as well as single fathers are on the increase in recent years. He stated, that nearly fifty percent of the cases of the assisted families, are made up of single mothers, fourteen-percent for single fathers, ten percent of cross-generation childrearing, and, eleven-percent were from migrated individuals, and, there were also, fifteen percent of the native families too.

He said, that the rates of divorce is hiking up in the society, as the mother remarries, or they’d, abandoned their young, and, the responsibilities of raising the children lands on the grandmother, or even, the great grandmother, causing these elderly in the population, to be forced, BACK into the workforce again.

He also said, that back when the economic was better in Taiwan, even IF it’s the single father’s wages, it was still enough, but now, there’s, a generally lowered pay rate, plus the single fathers that the organization oversee are of lower education, and not making enough money, they’d needed even more assistance from the outside.

He found, that from before, a lot of the single fathers didn’t ask for help, because they’d cared too much about face, believed that “receiving help is damaging to the pride”, and, a lot of the child abuse cases are because of the single father, overwhelmed with too much pressures, and taking the angers out on their offspring. But after they’d received the needed supports systems, the caring for the children would have less troubles, and in the futures, when these individuals are able to, they will be able to, help others as well, “These couple of years, more single fathers are more willing, to ask for help.”

And so, this, would be the trend, because they are stricken with poverty, they can’t get their children the education that their children needed, in order, to get OUT of poverty, but gladly, there are foundations, organizations such as the Taiwan Fund for Children & Families, to offer these families the supports they needed, to get back on their feet again.
